President's Message
Dear GBGSA member,
I want to thank all of our members and suppliers for your continued support. I also want to thank all of the Superintendents, General Managers, Golf Professionals and Clubhouse staff that have hosted our GBGSA events over the years. There is a very specific reason why our association thrives and is able to move forward year after year and that is due to the continued support from everyone. The GBGSA thanks you for this. Lastly, I want to hand out a big thank you to our Board of Directors as well. There is a lot of work happening behind the scenes to make these events happen.
Our sponsorship initiatives will continue through 2019:
- GBGSA (Jay Lavis Memorial) Scholarship
- BAGS Tour
- Guelph Turfgrass Institute
- Norman McCollum Bursary

The funding that we use to support these initiatives comes from the membership dues each year, which allows support for turfgrass students as well as junior golf within our region.
The GBGSA has made a decision on our three events for the year. All the details will be posted on the GBGSA website over the next couple of weeks.
